Illustration Friday - WIND

So, It's Halloween... I LOVE Halloween!
I'm not sure which version of this I like best.

Here's the story:

Stanley could remember killing Aurthur. Aurthur had cheated him out of fifty dollars. It was a repayment of a debt. It made things even, didn't it? But the lynch mob had said it did not. Stanley had told them why it was fair, but they wouldn't listen. They had said "a life for a life"... and yes, that had sounded fair to Stanley. As they strung him up, Stanley realized that the balance was uneven again. What about the fifty dollars Aurthur had taken? Who would pay? He hung from that tree in the meadow for weeks before the idea entered his rotting mind... the lynch mob... they were the ones who needed to pay. The scales would balance again...
